leathery goodness

I am probably the biggest sucker when it comes to sales. On Friday last week, I persuaded my poor mother to go the Green With Envy with me, under the guise that we would be "shopping for her". But alas, we both knew that were really there to shop for me. As soon as a entered the doors, I was all over the sale section - I picked out a variety of items that I wanted to try on, but I knew that I was probably not going to purchase them.

And then I found them. These glorious, purple Acne leather pants. I saw them at Green With Envy's sale last season for $100, but I decided that they were a little too ostentatious for my taste. But something about them drew me towards them this time, and I decided to try them on, just for fun. After I put them on, I fell in love. The buttery leather was divine, and they were actually quite warm and perfect for Melbourne's current cool weather. I ignored the fact that they were a little big and asked the saleswoman how much they were. "$50," she replied. "I'm sorry, how much?". "$50". I checked the pricetag and saw its original price: $1,100. I was in utter disbelief. I bought a pair of Acne leather pants for 4.5% of it's original price. What.

So that's basically how I acquired these beautiful pants. I can't wait to show you guys how I'll style them - I'm thinking my Acne pistols and a black t-shirt.
